Name: Ginevra Molly Weasley
Age: Sixteen
Birthday: August 27th
Bloodline: Pureblood, but couldn't care less
Physical Description: Ginny Weasley is relatively small in stature, with long and straight red hair that reaches her shoulder blades and clear blue eyes. She has slight curves and some muscle, thanks to lucky genes and lots of practice with quidditch.
Her features are strong; a strong jawline and high cheekbones. She holds features from both of her parents, and even (as her twin brothers like to tell her and which she hates to be told) from her Great-Auntie Muriel.
Personality: Ginny has a forceful personality. She is confident, she is bold and she doesn't let anyone step on herself or anyone around her. She is tough, not in an unpleasant way (well, depending on who you talk to, I suppose), and though she can have a fierce temper when angry (even her brothers know not to make her angry), she can be just as fiercely loyal and warm.
She is compassionate, and she tells the truth when giving her opinion; she never clouds situations with unneeded emotion. She rarely cries, having an uncanny ability to keep her head in the most tense of situations.
Growing up with six brothers and no sisters has made these things come to be, and it also made her more interested in things such as quidditch than girly things, and it has given her a lack of hesitance to do anything that might be dirty or otherwise intimidating.
Likes: Her family, Arnold (her puffskein), Harry, quidditch.
Dislikes: Most Slytherins, including Draco Malfoy, people who make fun of other people.
History: From the time she was born, Ginny has known poverty and prejudice (though the latter she didn't face in full until going to Hogwarts). Growing up with six brothers molded Ginny into who she is today. Fred, George and Ron were the only siblings left in the house when she reached teaching age, and she was taught basic reading and writing with those three. She grew closest to those three, finding it hard to relate to Percy, and not seeing her eldest two brothers very often. The entire family, however, was extremely close.
Ginny was a shy fan of Harry Potter's before she ever laid eyes on him. This crush grew as her brother Ron became good friends with him in their first year at Hogwarts, so that by the time Ginny could come to Hogwarts as well, she was very enamoured with him.
During her second year at Hogwarts, Ginny was possessed by Tom Riddle's diary and was forced to set loose the basilisk on many innocent people. In the end, it was Harry that rescued her. However, during the next two years, Ginny had her own group of friends, and though she talked to her brother and his friends freely, they did not spend a lot of time together while at school.
By her fourth year, she had tried to get over Harry. She still cared for him a great deal, but she did her best, at Hermione's suggestion, to 'move on'. This made her able to talk to him easily, and she began to spend more time with Ron and his friends. Thanks to the D.A., she made sure that no outcasts felt left out, making friends with Neville and Luna. When Harry was banned from quidditch by Professor Umbridge, Ginny replaced him as Seeker. Since her brothers wouldn't let her play with them at home, she had been breaking into the broom shed since the age of six and practicing flying on her own. She was quite good by now. At the end of the year, she goes with five others to the Ministry and fights Death Eaters there.
Her outgoing personality gained her popularity, so that she was very friendly with most of Gryffindor house and many in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff when her fifth year came around. She became Chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team, and continued to venture into the realm of dating, and shamelessly. But she still harbored feelings for Harry, who began to return those feelings, after so many years. It wasn't until they won the Quidditch Final that she and Harry finally kissed, and it was the beginning of their relationship.
She helped to fight off the Death Eaters that swarm the school at the end of the year, but Albus Dumbledore was still killed. At his funeral, Harry broke things off with her, telling her that there was something that he had to do. She took it calmly, but it didn't mean that it didn't cause her pain.
Family and Pets: Father, Arthur; mother, Molly; brothers (and in this order) Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, and Ron. Ginny is the youngest. The family owl, Pigwidgeon. Chickens. And her own puffskein, named Arnold.
Roleplaying Sample: See Pansy application. If I need to make one for Ginny, let me know.[/color]
