Why are they important to this plot line?: Bellatrix is perhaps one of Voldemort’s most loyal and esteemed servants, she is ready to do as her Master wishes. No matter what.
Physical Description: Bellatrix is a slender woman with plenty of potential. Though she is still lovely, years in Azkaban clearly have had their toll upon the female. She has dark brunette almost black hair, pale features and heavy eyelids. Her eyes are dull and almost lifeless seeming, but this only adds to her insane characteristics.
Personality:Bellatrix is a vicious woman, she will kill and torture any who dare get in her way. She is loyal to Lord Voldemort and if he wished it of her, she would even kill her own family. She is an undeniably crazed and ruthless woman who finds torture and death mildly amusing.
Likes: Torture, killing, curses, the Dark Lord, and Death Eaters.
Dislikes: Those not worthy of her Master’s attention, Harry Potter, Aurors and the Ministry of Magic.
History: Bellatrix was born into a pureblood family. When in Hogwarts she was sorted into the slytherin house and quickly was immersed into the ‘pure-blood’ bigotry. She became a pureblood fanatic and continued on with her ways, even after leaving school.
After school life she married a man named Rodolphus Lestrange, and together they took an interest in the work of Lord Voldemort. They soon joined ranks with the Death Eaters, along side Rodolphus' brother Rabastan.
Bellatrix had a passion for the Unforgivable Curses, particularly the Torture Curse. After the fall of Lord Voldemort to Harry Potter, they attempted to find out what had happened to him. Together with Rabastan and the young Bartemius Crouch, Jr., captured the Aurors Frank and Alice Longbottom and tortured them using the Cruciatus Curse.
They were soon tracked down by Aurors and brought for trial before the Magical Council of Law, which was controlled by none other than Bartemius Crouch Jr.’s father, Barty Crouch Sr. They were sentenced to life in Azkaban, and as their sentence was passed, Bellatrix refused to denounce her master, even making a passionate speech about his return.
She spent nearly 15 years in Azkaban but escaped with a mass breakout, fleeing to rejoin with her master, Lord Voldemort. And though she has made a few mistakes, (such as the Ministry incident.) She has remained loyal to the Dark Lord. She continues to stay at large, even helping her sister, Narcissa Malfoy with a family dilemma.
Family and Pets: A faithful member of the dignified and most ancient House of Black. She is married to Rodolphus Lestrange, and has sisters Andromeda Tonks and Narcissa Malfoy. Her cousins were Sirius and Regulus Black (both deceased).
Roleplaying Sample: Lovely lips curved into a hysteric grin as a clear symbol of lunacy glistened within her crazed eyes; she scrutinized the man viciously as he lay beneath her, quivering with horror and pain. She was a woman with a love for the Dark Arts; she favored torture and prefered the Cruciatus Curse above every other unforgivable. It was the show, the power she received as she watched a full grown man cower to his knees, screaming in agony- then begging… Yes, the begging- how she enjoyed it so, loving the sound of their voices as they pleaded for it to stop…
Laughter escaped her, the sound was sadistic and it suited her perfectly. “Is the wittle baby gonna’ cwy for his mommy?” She mocked before chuckling once more, her gaze widening as she waited for the man to look at her so she could see the ache in his expression, she wanted the satisfaction of seeing how much he had truly suffered.
Though the man did not roll over to convey such fulfillment, he remained still, appearing more like a cadaver than a living being. He lay limp in the grass, not far from where she had found him in the first place. She had been going towards Severus’ house when she caught him moving through the foliage, and her first assumption was that it had been he who dared followed her all this time.
Bellatrix continued to wait, but she was not a patient woman. She despised the fact that this man would not bring her the contentment she desired- But she continued to stand with the pale moonlight illuminating her pallid features, outlining her slender face and heavily lidded eyes. Though lovely, she was unquestionably demented.
“CRUCIO!” She snarled, her wand raised high above her head with her wrist arched as she aimed for the man beneath her. Immediately he responded to the curse, letting out a wail of pain as his muscles contracted and his body began to twitch and quake with agony. Only when the screams ended did she lower her wand, allowing him to fall limp upon the grass once more, this time she had pushed him to far, and she doubted he would even have the capability of moving his head to peer up at her.
Carefully, Bellatrix lowered herself, reaching out to grab his face with her long nimble fingers. She yanked his head in her direction and observed his dulling orbs, “maybe next time you’ll know not to follow me.” She spat before letting the man go, shoving him away so she could stand and step over him, allowing herself to continue on with her journey.
