Name: Tristiana Dairine Caerath
Nicknames: Trista, Ahn, Trist
Age: 16
Birthday: December 5
Bloodline: Pureblood
Physical Description: Tristiana is considered by many to be rather beautiful, though she really isn’t one to go on, doting about her own looks. At about 5’11, she is quite tall and has a slender figure. Her eyes, almond shaped and slightly wideset, are a light crystalline blue which shift to a deep sapphire color toward the edge of her irises, and are almost always glinting smugly, as if she knows something that you don’t. Her proudest feature is her long, straight, light brown hair which falls to the middle of her back and complements her fair skin rather well. She is noted for spending several hours each day just to perfect her hair, and typically has it pinned up or braided in various ways.
Alliance: Tristiana’s not quite sure what side she takes in the war. She's being pressured by her family (especially her brother0 to join Voldemort and his followers, but the fact her loyalty to her friends is much stronger presents quite a problem. The fact that her best friend throughout all her Hogwarts days has suddenly switched over to the Order's side is tugging her in that direction. The fact that she has a very rocky relationship with her muggle-born hating brother doesn't make her too thrilled about being one of Voldemort's minions either.
Personality: Tristiana has somewhat of a bitter, cold personality, due to the fact she’s had quite a few disappointments in her life. She is known for her slightly bipolar tendencies, shifting moods on a whim. One moment, she might be talking amiably to her friends, and the next, storming down the halls, hexing those unfortunate to cross her path. She possesses a notoriously short and vicious temper, and can be rash in her decisions when in a rage, despite her usually calculating nature. She often will be annoyed by little things and when she feels that you’re simply wasting her time. Other students will often have a problem with her due to the fact she always manages to shift blame for anything onto someone else, allowing her to maintain a perfect, albeit somewhat false, record.
Tristiana is very quick to judge those around her, and if she dislikes someone, she’s likely to do everything within her power to make his or her life as miserable as possible. However, to her few true friends, she is incredibly loyal and would gladly risk her life for them. She has a rather prideful nature, and is also known for her rather high intelligence which has lead to some people asking her for help on their work, but she tends to jealously withhold her knowledge for herself as much as possible, or purposely give someone the wrong answers, due to a highly competitive streak. She wants to always end up on top, no matter what techniques she has to employ to get there.
Romantically speaking, Tristiana has relatively little want for a guy to enter her life as a significant other, and her somewhat standoffish manner usually repels guys from seeing her as a potential girlfriend. However, she does enjoy the company of guys as her friends very much, almost feeling more comfortable around them than she does around other girls. As for her opinion on the blood barrier, she really couldn’t care less. Not saying that she actually supports the equal treatment of non-pureblood witches and wizards, she just doesn’t care. If she meets a half-blood or muggleborn and happens to find out they’re rather nice, then she’ll think highly of them; if they’re not, she’ll dislike them the same amount she would any pureblood magical folk. However, of muggles themselves, she tends to receive them rather haughtily, for her parents have always told her of their absolute uselessness and consider them below her.

History: Born the youngest of a wealthy, pureblood family, Tristiana lived in a typical spoiled manner; expecting the best, and only receiving the very best. Life was handed to her on a platter; nothing she wanted was too much to have. Despite the luxurious life she lived, Tristiana always had the feeling of something being wrong with her life; she grew up with very few friends, she and her brother had a very stressed relationship, being that he obviously supported Voldemort and his views, her parents never really took care of her or any of her siblings, leaving them to the care of servants, and her sister was banished and disowned when Tristiana was 14, due her falling in love with a muggleborn.
Her parents, though not officially death eaters, believe somewhat in Voldemort’s ideals, and maintain a strong hatred of non-pureblooded witches and wizards. From the beginning of her life, Tristiana was taught the “superiority” of her own blood kind. However, while she eagerly adopted these paths of thinking while she was young, relishing the thought of being superior, Tristiana began to have minor doubts about them around the time she turned 11, due to a run in with a fellow witch during which they conversed amiably, when only at the end she realized that the said person was a muggleborn.
Upon her acceptance into Hogwarts, it was immediately obvious that Tristiana did not click too well with her follow students, immediately coming off as haughty, cold, and arrogant. Despite this, she managed to gather around her a small, select group of friends. Being in her last year of school, she’s not too eager to be graduating and would really hope the year lasted forever, as currently, her future is quite unstable. Her parents have hopes for her to go off and join the ranks of the Death Eaters, but Tristiana just might have other plans.

Roleplaying Sample:
The snow was falling heavily over the Hogwarts grounds, encasing everything within sight like an icy, cold sheet. Everything was frozen; the lake was covered with a thick coating of glass like ice with lines spiderwebbing across the surface, and the trees’ snow-laden branches hung low to the ground, weighed down with giant icicles that seemed like daggers, waiting to stab whoever walked below.
The figure striding through the grounds didn’t seem to be bothered by the icicles much though; instead, she seemed to treat them like a minor annoyance, and punched them aside, hearing them crack and shatter as they hit the ground. The tears on her cheeks froze as they hit the snow, which crunched underfoot as she broke into a run, as if to escape from the news the letter crumpled in her pocket held.
“Tristiana!”
Hearing her name, she began to move even faster, hearing the footsteps following behind her, trying to catch up. But as she ran, her foot caught under a root hidden beneath the snow, tripping her and causing her to slam to the ground. Face contorted with anger, she tried to scramble away and stand up, but she was tackled by the person, and found herself with her face in the ground again, the breath knocked out of her.
“Tristiana! Stop! What the hell is up with you-” The man started to speak, but was cut off mid-sentence, as Tristiana, growling angrily, kicked him in the stomach, causing him to roar and fall backwards. He got up quickly though, and grabbed a hold of her robes before she could get away. “What is your problem? Tristiana, answer the question!”
Glaring furiously, Tristiana stared into the face of the man she called a brother, Anton. “What is my problem? What is my problem?” she shouted angrily. “Is that what you’re asking? You very well know what the problem is!” she said, before further attempting to throw a few more punches at her brother.
Leaning a bit to avoid Tristiana’s frenzied swings, he grabbed a hold of her shoulders and looked her again in the eye. “This is about Marisol, isn’t it? How she’s basically dead to our family now?” He stood up, smirking and looking down upon Tristiana, who looked at him, full of loathing. “Well, forget about her. It’s better that that blood traitor is gone; all she did was bring shame upon our heads.”
Getting up, Tristiana snarled viciously. “And it’s all because of you! You were the one who told our parents she loved a muggleborn. Because that’s all you thought about, right? How she’d a shame to be related to if she loved a muggleborn? Well, then I’m ashamed to be related to you, you traitorous piece of filth. Family loyalty means nothing to you; you’d kill us all if you thought it would make you a better pureblood.” She then turned on her heel and began to stride back to the castle, but not before giving Anton one last punch, leaving him in the snow, staring off at her retreating back.
