Name: Salsiar Serpen
Age: 33
Sex: Male
Blood: Pure
Likes: Quidditch, Dark Arts, Power, Potions.
Dislikes: Mudbloods (and Halfbloods), fools, people in general.
Position: Head of Slytherin, Potions Master
Experience: Curses, Dark Arts, physical and mental torture.
Familiar: Black cat named Socratese.
Personality: Nasty little buggar that dislikes everyone except Salsiar
Description:
Salsiar is tall (6'6), and due to quidditch practice, he has a good build. Coming from an old wizarding family, he tries to keep a respectable appearance; his long black hair is held back with a black ribbon, and his pale complexion is flawless. His obsidian eyes are cold and hard, usually concealing any emotion. He's good at bluffing, and can keep 'poker face' ....but usually he's seen with the Serpen smirk or disdainful sneer at his enemies. Fine toned features throughout his face are striking and dangerous.
Personality:
Confident and snide with an ego that could fill the room, you can't miss Salsiar. He's pure blood, and looks down on anyone who's not... he's perfect Death Eater material. Despite his cutting sarcasm and constant sneer, Salsiar knows how to keep himself out of trouble - whats more irritating is you know he did it, but you cant prove a damn thing.
Salsiar grew up cold and cruel. His heart has hardened over from misuse of emotions. Showing emotions makes you weak. Weakness is something only fools show. He has a genius mind. Only he doesn't use it for academic purposes. He uses it to manipulate. Salsiar is evil; but evil is only what we perceive it to be. Every wizard knows what lies within him. For Salsiar that is strength, power and talent. None of these things are neither good nor bad in themselves. How he uses them is what makes them good or evil. His definition of these words is not the same as everyone. To him, Good is Evil. He fights against the Good that he hates. Just as another wizard fights against the Evil the he hates. Each are exactly alike in every way, except for the way we perceive them.
Salsiar likes to keep to himself. He will socialize with others only when it is for his own personal gain.
Background:
Salsiar comes from a prestigious Pureblood family, with plenty of wealth and influence; this means he was brought up to appreciate life's luxuries and the Dark Arts. His mother and father raised him with the belief that power is the key to sucess, and you must do anything you can to achieve the goals.... even blackmail, bribery or just plain bullying. He learnt the hard way that to fail will cost dearly (his Father had a very sharp tongue and words can cut as deep as any physical wound).
Salsiar spent most of his life cooped up in a room to learn things. Be they practical, theoretical, personal or experimental. Salsiar could never learn enough. His thirst for knowledge extended further than what he was able to find. Salsiar also created his own inventions and experiments to see the outcome of them.
Salsiar had a childhood filled with torture both physical and mental. Not that he is sorry he did. He believes it has made him stronger physically and mentally. When he felt strong enough, he planned and preformed the murders of each family member that caused him pain and suffering, then killed the rest of his family for no other reason except the fact that he could. Fortunately for Salsiar, he had a reliable alibi each time.
